Ate here on the recommendation of our B&B. Chose the mussels and the scallops to start. The mussels were excellent. A huge bowl and my wife ended up sharing some with me! Just as well as my scallops were a bit disappointing . Very nice...More

Had an excellent meal here - nice setting by river. Quirky old building. Staff very efficient. Food was excellent for 2 of us, although my wife felt her halibut was overcooked. I'd happily return. Cost about £40 per head

We had a super lunch here last Wednesday. The place is buzzing, but the staff are friendly and easily cope. Great food and very reasonably priced. Do phone the day before to book

A truly Scottish experience with friendly staff and the chilly autumn night by the Loch Ness. Food is great and family with children are so welcome... Experience a poached salmon dish or a slow cooked lamb with the ambience of this great place. Well worth...More

The place is beautifully located next to the river. It has a strong concept of using mainly local and sought-out vendors' foods. The ingredients were absolutely top quality. However, I missed a bit of punch tastewise - it could be more interesting. Cosy atmosphere and...More

We were a party of 14, including children. Our table was very well waited on and our food was served with not too much wait, and was excellent, despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy. Hope to visit again soon.

Hello, yes, contact the restaurant and they will advise. If I mind correctly there were two GF starters and two GF mains, since I did not have dessert I cannot comment. The only downside is they do not have gluten-free bread.

Open since 1995, the simple cooking and warm, friendly atmosphere has allowed The Mustard Seed to become one of Inverness’s favourite restaurants. The Location on the banks of the River Ness in a converted church building is simply stunning and helps create the wonderful ambience. The transformation from disused church to restaurant created a unique space; with a double-height ceiling and magnificent open log fire. Many of the original period features were retained and combined with a mix of natural and modern finishes. The addition of the terrace on the top floor allows alfresco dining and uninterrupted views of the River, another amazing asset for the restaurant.
