Although the staff was friendly, dinner here was so packed, that they were necessarily rushed. We found the food to be good but not exceptional for its price. The beer list was quite limited, and there was no hard cider room (top floor) seemed too...More

Eating there at lunch time was not only surprisingly good but also perfect value for the money. Highly recommend. On top the service was great as well.

Great food, kind server who was attentive to our needs. Table had good view of the River. We could hear ourselves talk since it was not noisy.

We were told this was a great place to eat. It must have been a bad night for the servers and chefs. Server was not attentive, food took forever to arrive and food was nothing special. Plenty of other good choice in Inverness.

The food here is always beautiful. It’s cooked perfectly and is always served with a smile. Price wise, I think it’s excellently priced considering the standard of food you’re getting. I had duck and it was delicious, cooked just the way I like it. Neither...More

Hello, yes, contact the restaurant and they will advise. If I mind correctly there were two GF starters and two GF mains, since I did not have dessert I cannot comment. The only downside is they do not have gluten-free bread.

Description
Open since 1995, the simple cooking and warm, friendly atmosphere has allowed The Mustard Seed to become one of Inverness’s favourite restaurants. The Location on the banks of the River Ness in a converted church building is simply stunning and helps create the wonderful ambience. The transformation from disused church to restaurant created a unique space; with a double-height ceiling and magnificent open log fire. Many of the original period features were retained and combined with a mix of natural and modern finishes. The addition of the terrace on the top floor allows alfresco dining and uninterrupted views of the River, another amazing asset for the restaurant.
