Lunch stop during our holiday. The most amazing fish and chips ever! Excellent service and value for money. Lovely coffee too.
We haven't been for a while and visited while my mother in law was visiting. We hadn't booked and did manage to get a table. If you read my reviews, you will see that I have food allergies. I had an amazing soya milk latte,...then had a soup the day with a chicken sandwich. The soup was lovely, and the sandwich, the bread, was so soft and fresh. Hubby had a sweet chilli chicken baked potato, and it was a large potato stuffed full of filling. With a latte, mother in law spied a lady getting served apple pie, and that's what she had a generous slice with ice cream. Attention to detail and welcoming staff hospitality as it should be doneMore
Our family loved popping into the White Cottage when we were staying nearby on holiday. The staff and proprietors are incredibly friendly. We enjoyed breakfast in and chippy takeaway. Everything we tried was excellent, and the portions were just right. Thank you!
This hidden gem is a must for trying somewhere new to eat. Nestled in the quite Main Street area of North Kessock with plenty parking facilities along the front. The staff (Andrea) was most helpful and accommodating. We had a voucher for lunch (Mother’s Day...gift) which I unfortunately left at home. Not a problem, just email the voucher to me when you get home. Absolutely first class service! Lunch was fabulous, tasty and very filling. Service was very quick and delivered with a smile. Would highly recommend this quaint little cafe for breakfast, lunch or high tea which has some fantastic views over the Beauly Firth. Advisable to book a table as it’s popular. Would definitely go back again!More
As far as B&B’s go, this ticks all the boxes. Quaint rooms with comfy beds and linens (we had both rooms overlooking the water), friendly and personable hosts, and probably the best cooked breakfast we had on our 9-day Scotland trip, which included swankier venues...with lesser variety.More
We started and ended our journey via NC500 at the tearoom and b&b of Andrea and Stuart. A friendly couple, servicing delicious breakfast and dinner (also tea and sweet, but we didn’t use that during our stay). Our room at the front had a great...view. Plus the airport nearby, so all benefits for a pleasant stay.More
What a great find. Car was in garage in Inverness so took a walk over the bridge to North Kessock and found this cafe. Woodburner was on so nice and cosy and great breakfast roll and latte. Very glad I walked over the bridge. Excellent....Many thanks to the team.More
We took a very lovely return brunch last weekend and we were made very welcome, we even took our latest addition to the family, our week old granddaughter. The food was a delight, I had the fillet steak sandwich and it was very nice, and...perfectly cooked. Everyone liked their meal and the next time we all get together, we'll be sure to head back for more hospitalityMore
Stayed at this tea room overnight. We had an evening meal there which was excellent. Scallops on black pudding cooked to perfection. Eggs Benedict for breakfast - again cooked to perfection. Clearly a popular place as many locals were in to eat and for takeaways....A definite find and would highly recommend.More
Stayed in the B&B for 3 nights in a lovely room facing the sea. Smallish room but certainly not cramped and super clean; it had everything you needed. Plus guests have access to a spacious sitting room and garden room, not to mention that fantastic...cafe downstairs. The breakfasts were outstanding so don't think that this is "just" a tea room. Baked good or meals were top quality and included varied options for vegetarians. The owners were friendly, skilled and they are the best of what hospitality is all about. Be sure to stay here when in Inverness, or at least drop by to eat. You will not be disappointed.More
We've been visiting the tearoom on our annual holiday since it opened in 2018 and would highly recommend. Well done to Stuart & Andrea, see you again next year.
Really enjoyed the experience here, with friendly staff, an interesting and varied menu, very good food and excellent coffee - and not forgetting the great views over the firth towards Inverness. Definitely worth turning off the A9 to visit.
Stayed for a couple of nights in Mid May, wished it could have been a couple of weeks. There was nothing to fault in this couple run B&B and tea room, nothing was too much trouble and how the couple worked the hours that they...did I do knot know. The breakfast was absolutely out of the world and such a varied choice. It was so handy for getting into Inverness, just leave the car there and hop on a bus, 10mins into the center of town, no hassle with traffic, parking etc, and so easy to get to. Cannot wait to go back.More
Really enjoyed my stay here - excellent service, immaculately clean rooms and facilities, and a most enjoyable dinner. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and could not have done more to make us welcome and comfortable.
