We haven't been for a while and visited while my mother in law was visiting. We hadn't booked and did manage to get a table. If you read my reviews, you will see that I have food allergies. I had an amazing soya milk latte, then had a soup the day with a chicken sandwich. The soup was lovely, and the sandwich, the bread, was so soft and fresh. Hubby had a sweet chilli chicken baked potato, and it was a large potato stuffed full of filling. With a latte, mother in law spied a lady getting served apple pie, and that's what she had a generous slice with ice cream. Attention to detail and welcoming staff hospitality as it should be done

We had heard about the White Cottage on the way in to Inverness and were very keen to give this a try. On arrival the staff were incredibly welcoming and were really keen to ensure we had a great experience. The Food was EXCEPTIONAL and excellent value for money, the cooked breakfasts were done exactly how we liked them and the Macaroni Cheese was prepared freshly to order and there was no trouble in making one without mustard. The tea room also has postcards and small prints by local artists and these are also highly recommended too! A HUGE thanks to staff at the White Cottage for making our visit a warm and welcoming one and I daresay we will be making a return visit very soon!.

We'd highly recommend this little gem. It's a beautiful and very convenient location. Parking was super easy, the view was very peaceful and the atmosphere inside the cafe was great. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, tasty and they served tea made with proper tea leaves! It was the best breakfast we had during our week's stay in the Highlands.

Stayed in the B&B for 3 nights in a lovely room facing the sea. Smallish room but certainly not cramped and super clean; it had everything you needed. Plus guests have access to a spacious sitting room and garden room, not to mention that fantastic cafe downstairs. The breakfasts were outstanding so don't think that this is "just" a tea room. Baked good or meals were top quality and included varied options for vegetarians. The owners were friendly, skilled and they are the best of what hospitality is all about. Be sure to stay here when in Inverness, or at least drop by to eat. You will not be disappointed.

Whilst on a tour of Scotland in early July I found the White Cottage Tea Rooms by chance. This is an excellent bed and breakfast, comfortable clean and well presented room, the on suite was newly refurbished and shower was great after a few nights of wild camping. Evening meals are available to residents and worthy of a good review if served in a restaurant and the breakfast was excellent, so much so that my wife and I stopped off for brunch on a touring trip around Scotland last week. Just two minutes off the main route I would definitely recommend if your looking for an Inverness stop off before or after a trip to John O’ Groats or the NC500

I took my wife, my son, his wife, my daughter and her husband and our two baby granddaughters for a late breakfast at the White Cottage Tea Room and we could not have been made anymore welcome. All our food was freshly cooked and it was hot and very tasty. The young staff members were a real treat, they were very polite and extremely professional. We had a terrific dining experience, thanks to you all!!!

I first visited here a number of years ago to stop for coffee on a journey north. The location is tranquil by the shores of the Beauly Firth just off the busy A9 in sight of the bustling Kessock Bridge. My wife an I again stopped for a drink and were intrigued by the interesting lunch menu. On the strength of this (and the fact that the coffee and service were excellent) we made a point o stopping for lunch on the return trip south. The dishes were every bit as tasty and interesting as they appeared on the menu. I had a very satisfying langoustine risotto with plenty meat and added flavour from tomatoes and rocket leaves. My wife had crispy seafood and chips dish garnished with salad and we were both delighted with the tastes and flavours. I finished with an apple pie and ice cream. Delicious!

We were lucky enough to get a table on a Saturday morning as walk ins but I would advice you book as tables went fast. The host was really nice and friendly, and the food was nothing short of perfect. The Eggs Benedict is served on tattie scones and I went for the ham option, I'm still talking about how good that ham was days later. My partner went for the Avacado Toast which was delicious. The lunch menu looked so good, can't wait to book and return. The young waitress was super friendly, it's in a beautiful spot and a must visit.

This hidden gem is a must for trying somewhere new to eat. Nestled in the quite Main Street area of North Kessock with plenty parking facilities along the front. The staff (Andrea) was most helpful and accommodating. We had a voucher for lunch (Mother’s Day gift) which I unfortunately left at home. Not a problem, just email the voucher to me when you get home. Absolutely first class service! Lunch was fabulous, tasty and very filling. Service was very quick and delivered with a smile. Would highly recommend this quaint little cafe for breakfast, lunch or high tea which has some fantastic views over the Beauly Firth. Advisable to book a table as it’s popular. Would definitely go back again!

The friendly welcome along with the quiet location made this a very pleasant stay. The owners couldn’t do enough for us when we weren’t feeling too well and even bought our meals upstairs to the conservatory to make things easier for us. The room was a good size and had a lovely outlook over the waterfront.

This is a breakfast and lunch place that does occasionally takeaway in the evenings. The quality of the food and coffee is first class and certainly the best breakfast we have had in the Inverness area. Lovely views of the Moray Firth - North Kessock is really a suburb of Inverness but it is a world away. The waitress and chef are extremely friendly and welcoming - we have eaten breakfast here three times and each dish has been top notch - special mention of the full Scottish and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

We took a very lovely return brunch last weekend and we were made very welcome, we even took our latest addition to the family, our week old granddaughter. The food was a delight, I had the fillet steak sandwich and it was very nice, and perfectly cooked. Everyone liked their meal and the next time we all get together, we'll be sure to head back for more hospitality

Sometimes places with a great view rest on their laurels, but not here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the food is equally as good from what we sampled. Certainly one of the best breakfasts we have ever had , the full Scottish was outstanding from the presentation, quality and range of ingredients used. Everything was perfect and then we move on to the American pancakes - light, fluffy and perfectly bubbled - somebody out the back knows their game ! Based on how much we enjoyed our food here, we also stocked up on takeaway of some of the very tempting home made cakes and puddings on offer, not surprisingly these also turned out to be delicious, great freshness. Cleanliness, accessibility, view , service. I would find it very hard to understand how anyone could find anything to complain about this place, seems so much more than your average ‘Tea Room’ . Thanks again and will always visit whenever we are in the area.

My family of six had a Sunday brunch today and it was all just perfect. The food was a delight, the staff were great and young Robbie has the enthusiasm that will take him a long way in life Robbie was a topper and he was just so sweet in arranging the high chair for our granddaughter and attending to our table. We'll be back sometime soon!.

Visited on Sunday with a very warm welcome, tables where cleaned as we entered with plenty of space for social distancing, although only a small cafe with tables outside also. Lovely varied menu with specials on a chalk board. Falafel burger was home made and very tasty along with chips, coleslaw and salad. Venison burger was FAB too. Cakes looked lovely but due to the large portions of the main meal could not squeeze a cake. Great view but no dolphins around! Free parking, definitely worth a visit.
