We played one round of gold here during a recent trip and it was very enjoyable. The staff were VERY friendly. The pro shop was well stocked (and even had a great sale when we were there). The course is VERY challenging. The fairways are very open but the greens were very fast, very wavy and quite challenging. A great... More

Good course, but tough, even with a variety of tees and especially in the wind which is seldom absent. Good views from most holes and course in good condition. Expensive, with very friendly staff and with a fine clubhouse architecturally. However, overall experience somewhat spoiled by a modest range of food of average quality in the clubhouse. An operation of... More

We went in the clubhouse restaurant for a bite to eat and a few drinks after our great round of golf. The service was fantastic and they have a great selection of food on the menu. We ordered the traditional red chili and the white bean/chicken chili with cheese and sour cream. They were very good and hit the spot.... More

From the moment you arrive you know you are in an establishment of superb quality. This isn't just playing a round of golf. The staff are fantastic and guide through the clubhouse, ranges, course start. Everything is pristine. The course itself is terrific and a fitting venue for the Scottish Open. Finally the food and bar in the clubhouse are... More

Made an unplanned stopped here and was extremely impressed with both the course and staff. Spectacular holes situated along the hillside coastline, wanted to stop and take a picture every hole. Recommend a caddy the first time four course knowledge. Undulating putting greens are impressive. Golf course staff very friendly helpful and professional making our visit well worth the stop.... An outstanding experience from the welcome at the door to the stunning views and the course in first class condition , I couldn't fault the day ( a 2 put birdie on the 18 helped). As good a course as I played ..... If your a golfer of any standard put this on on your bucket list ....

This is a newer links course that we enjoyed on our golf trip to Scotland. The holes run along the Moray Firth, creating opportunities for unbelievable scenery. You can look back and see the bridge crossing the Moray Firth just outside of Inverness. We played with some mixed weather; it is very "squally" meaning that each weather incident was 5-10... More

Like Kingsbarns with beautiful views but more natural then Kingsbarn and less crowded. Very friendly staff and very good rental clubs.

Having such a great course, a real interesting club house, and then just an average kitchen providing average food. This does not fit together. Sorry.
