Typical Scottish food in the middle of highlands and right on Loch Ness. Atmosphere and the food are really good! Try to reserve before you go.

It's best to book a table or you may be disappointed. There are a number of staple dishes supplemented by several specials each day. The scallops with black pudding are delicious & the fish & chips are among the best in the country. Beer on tap is very reasonable with a good choice.

Had to wait almost an hour for the main course, lamb was raw. Other tables complained as well. They did deduct the meal from the bill but i'd rather enjoy and pay for my food. Not once did the waiting staff ask if everything was ok. Poor service and won't be going back.

Lovely meal, hot food and a great dessert. Enjoyed our family meal here, prices not too bad considering the tourist trap and right on Loch Ness but worth the visit.

We went for lunch today after being advised they catered for coeliac and allowed dogs! Dog was happy!! Menu was bland boring and very little choice! Husband had scampi and what were meant to be chips!! Scampi was cold and chips were huge massive chunks of "roast potatoes"!! Son had the "full" portion of haggis neeps and tatties! He is... More

We drove the tedious miles out of our way to find a restaurant of good repute near Inverness. As I was prepared for the backwardness of this region towards family and pet dining my hopes were not high. I was not proved wrong. We waited a good 40 minutes in the dog friendly area (a rank rotten bar, your dog... More

It had been recommended to me so thought I'd give it a try, I had phoned to book a table in the area where dogs are allowed but this is not possible so had to risk driving the 15 miles from Whitebridge hoping we would be seated. The bar area where dog owners are located is a far cry from... More

A great pub serving high quality food in a fantastic location/setting. The service was quick and efficient. The food was plentiful when it arrived and cooked to a very high standard. Great menu choices to suit all appetites and needs.

Simply fantastic. I would urge anyone to visit. Best fish and chips I have ever had by a long way. Book ahead on weekends and holidays to avoid disappointment.

My wife and I booked a table for Sunday lunch, we did the local walk and went in for lunch (sunday 20th March). We shared the duck 2 ways (awesome 10 out of 10 Really Really good). I had the fish and chips as a main and my wife had the roast beef. Both Excellent, my wife was disappointed with... More
