I booked ahead to make sure they had the blossom onion. When we got there they knew that we were having it and it was swiftly brought to the table. We ordered mains and I ordered the wrong thing for myself (my bad) the food as always was good but I think they have gotten a bit carried away with... More

Visited last Friday night. Horrible weather outside but nice and cosy inside. No wait for seat. Was initially put on small table but had no problems with us requesting to move to larger window seat. The food is plentiful and lovely. Staff are great and make tounfeel welcome. Will definitely visit on next trip to aviemore.

We were recommended to come here for dinner and were not disappointed! Huge portions of tasty food at a good price, staff were friendly and efficient too so all made for a great dinner experience.

First day of our annual holiday week in Aviemore, we went to Roo's Leap, as usual. We had booked in advance, as Saturday nights are generally busy. I had my usual Monster Bob burger and my wife had the Salmon Catch Plate. Both meals were pleasant enough, although a little on the "dry" side. Both meals were extremely generous portions... More

Much, much better than going to a burger-chain fast food place. A proper restaurant atmosphere and service and great food.

Went here for dinner with my husband and mother. The staff were friendly, surroundings comfortable and service good. My husband ordered the Mexican burger, myself and mother chose to share a chicken quesadilla. The burger was massive with chips and coleslaw on the side. The quesadilla didn't look impressive by comparison with salad and pots of guacamole, sour cream and... More

We were recommended to go there by a local as the the burgers were suppose to be amazing. We sent our food back as it was just plain and tasteless. The food tasted like someone had gone to Iceland and had just unfrozen and reheated a burger. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This quirky restaurant is a great place to eat in Aviemore. Staff are friendly and efficient and portions are huge. The place has a great atmosphere and the Aussie theme was nostalgic to my days spend backpacking in Australia. A good number of vegetarian options and located perfectly in centre of town.

I visited this restaurant with my mum for a 'quick bite to eat before we got on the train again at aviemore, to go to our holiday accommodation. We have been at this restaurant many times before since I was very young actually and sad to say we will not be returning. We arrived there in the afternoon on the... More

Went here as a party of 4 - food was better than average, it was pretty overpriced but I suppose you do get big portions! Couldn't really fault the service of one female worker who we had - very welcoming and friendly!
