Lovely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff! Their food is the best Italian I have ever had in Glasgow and would compare it to being just as amazing as the pizza in Italy!!!! Defiantly a must if in Glasgow Southside

I think the rebranding and the new menus have worked very well for the owners. The decor is much improved although the ceiling artwork looks like it was painted by a 5 year old... perhaps it has and I am doing it a diservice. Bella...More

There were 6 of us and maybe I just picked the wrong dish as my lasagne was very unremarkable and burnt round the edges of the bowl, but the others enjoyed theirs and the staff were very attentive so we had a lovely evening.

I had given this place up and a friend suggested I give it another try. Having been a couple of times recently I have really enjoyed it. Exceptional food and lovely friendly service. This is local to me so I will be visiting regularly.

yes thats the only change. they decided after 17yrs for a wee change in name and decor to move with the times and too many restaurants in glasgow that start with the name bella.. staff are the same and chef is the same :-)

The name change is due to several other restaurants using the word Bella in their name. Too much confusion! Nothing else has changed .

Description
Glasgows pizza connoisseurs know that the best place in town to come for a knock-out Italian feast is Bella Napoli an iconic Glasgow institution on the Kilmarnock Road. With countless awards to his name, head chef Domenico Crollo took Bella Napoli over from his father in 2005, and the art of Italian cookery is in his blood. Flying to Italy to source the best flour, mozzarella and Italian wines, Crollo has created pizza perfection at Bella Napoli, and this vibrant restaurant is a must for any serious lover of great Italian food. Spread out over three levels, this welcoming venue serves everything from espressos and sandwiches to pasta, risotto, burgers, steaks and outstanding homemade puddings.
