Great casual indian dining in what appears to be an old pub. We ordered about eight tapas sized dishes between us and were presented with a table full of flavours. The baked haddock and fish pakoras both recommended by the friendly waitress were incredibly tasty. Peshwari naan was over-flowing with almonds. We spent about £42.00 altogether including a couple of... More

Mix British traditional cafe, traditional authentic Indian cooking and Spanish tapas style presentation and you have a winning formula. Eat a lot of small different excellent dishes washed down with a beer, wine or water and you'll leave both stimulated and satisfied!!!

Amazing Indian food with great staff and service to match. It's really nice to be able to share smaller dishes with a large group. The garlic naan was fantastic! Will be back.

We enjoyed a return visit to this restaurant and, once again, enjoyed our meal served with excellent service. Frequent bus service from the City Centre and some hotels nearby.

Had lunch today. Two chick pea tapas and a lamb and a chicken dish. One naan bread two chutneys. The portions of the meat were tiny...tapas of course the naan bread was smaller than we remembered and the waiter forgot about our Chana poori and Chana aloo. We had to ask. The manager apologised although we made no fuss. One... More

Ok, this is an easy one so will keep it short and sweet. Quite easily, one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever experienced. Everything works - the ambience of the restaurant is very different from your typical curry house, the service was perfect during peak times and the food simply delicious. If your looking for something a little different... More

We stopped by the place since we saw Tripadvisor's certificate of excellence logo on the door. We ordered 5-6 dishes (they do tapas style dishes) and drinks. Our drinks were served quickly but we waited about 30 min and then realized all tables around us who came later than us were already served. We called the waitress to find out... More

Firstly, the food is superb. It really is delicious. It's not like other Indian restaurants that I've been to, this is top quality freshly cooked food. The "Mother India" and "Wee Curry Shop" restaurants are from the same stable, and they are simply the best that I've experienced. The only downside is that the "tapas" style means small dishes, and... More
