The restaurant is located at the west end of Sauchiehall St. there is limited (and expensive) metered parking nearby, but it’s best (and usually cheaper) to park at an NCP and walk. It’s not a huge place inside with seating for only 40 or so...downstairs - there is an upstairs and I would guess that their total capacity is less than 100. The menu had a lot of Italian style, favourite dishes throughout. I had the chicken breast with asparagus which was very nice. The portion isn’t huge and comes with gnocchi. The service was good. The bill for 2 for a main course, a soft drink and a coffee each was £35 which wasn’t cheap for a lunch. I should say that they currently have a Christmas lunch menu (£15 for 2 courses) which looks better value.More

Have been here a few times (all for lunch) while visiting nearby Dental School for work. It’s just excellent. Nice, not overlong menu, all beautifully done. Cheerful efficient service. Nice house wine by the glass. Prices ridiculously reasonable.

Spur of the moment find! Why have I not been here before!!! I have completely been missing out! Last minute decision to have meal before theatre, we had been checking out other places on the same street when saw the pre theatre deal. Tempted by...good offer and that they could squeeze us in (thank you!) , we decided to go in. As we were ont he cusp of lunch & pre theatre timings the waitress gave us other menus and said we could choose what to order from. This was a very nice touch and appreciated. Both myself and friend opted for different menus. Due to the basic although clean interior, excellent pricing and that we had never heard of or saw the place before we had low expectations. There was no need for us to be so cautious with expectations! the food was tasty, well cooked, presented well and fresh! Every course was delicious. So much so when attending theatre same week myself and another friend revisited and ordered different dishes. I am glad to say all were just as good as the previous ones and thoroughly enjoyable dining. Staff on both occasions were lovely, friendly and efficient. Yet not too keen. If you have a liking for good fresh food, cooked well and served in a friendly space this is it! So refreshing not the stereo typical Italian or god forbid a chain, where plastic food is hailed! Thank you Antipasti, look forward to my next visit which is very very soon!More

Would recommend this place. The food was amazing, especially for the price!! Had the gnocchi (delicious) for starter and salmon for main. And tiramisu for dessert. Good portion sizes. Venue was clean. Staff were really polite & service was excellent. Would also recommend the espresso...martini, brilliant. Thank you for a nice dining experience.More

Visited the restaurant pre theatre before our show. Good atmosphere, staff were friendly & service was good. Wide range of options on the menu. Portions were quite small and unfortunately some of our food was cold. Reasonable price wise.

The restaurant lacked atmosphere. The staff were just about ok. Lacked friendliness. The food was very very average. The garlic bread was like plain toast. There was nothing special about the food. I’m shocked it has such great reviews although not a great deal of...Italian restaurants in Glasgow.More

My dining companion has severe food allergies, and before booking we checked out the premises ability to cope - unlike other establishments, the staff member was knowledgeble and very helpful. On our visit, the welcome was friendly and warm. Our food was delicious, good sized...portions and service attentive but not obtrusive. Prices were very reasonable. Just have to make special mention of the coffee there - it was delicious.More

Late lunch before the theatre. Staff lovely and lunch menu very reasonably priced. However, bruschetta was simply flavoured tomatoes on average white bread, not griddled. Quite a few of the mussels were closed and the side dish for the chicken over salted. Having read many...of the previous reviews was disappointed.More

Yes, we are wheelchair accessible although it is advisable to let us know before you come in so we can ensure that there is a table available on the ground floor. Kindest regards, Cafe Antipasti
