Is Glasgow the Curry capital of the world? Yes, probably. There are a huge number of traditional Indian restaurants to choose from from the center to the West End etc, but nothing comes close to Dakhins. Forget the standard Tikka Masala, Rogan Josh etc, Dakhin's has a menu unsurpassed anywhere. Try it and I'll guarentee you'll be back

Went last night for dinner as a party of eight, we all enjoyed the meal very much. Not sure if it was the Gluten free or the way the dishes were cooked but the meals seemed very light but bursting with nice levels of spice throughout. The accompanying dishes were all delicious, the Dosa fabulous and the staff very attentive.... More

I came here with my mum for the second time this weekend. My mum loves the fact she can eat everything on the menu for a change! The food was delicious as always. We will continue to come back.

Centrally situated for office workers and tourists alike this gem offers a gluten free menu that is far from bland. The southern Indian kitchen uses tastes and combinations of food quite different to others in the city. The main menu is varied, chicken ,beef, fish and vegitarian and accompnied by lentil pancakes and other exciting GFbreads.Lunchtime offers a three course meal with coffee/tea or... Had the early diners set menu - two courses for £18.95. We were provided with complementary poppadoms and condiments when we sat down. I had the bajhis for starters - they were very well cooked, neither dry nor oily. Tasted great and served with a small salad. This was followed by a mild king prawn curry. I had reservations about... Great restaurant which offers a unique menu. The paper thin, long rolls of bread are really special to accompany incredibly interesting and diverse tastes in the curries. I go here any time I'm in Glasgow after a game at hampden and am never disappointed. A truly awesome Indian restaurant 10/10

1st time at this restaurant. Very quiet as it was Sunday evening and early. Service excellent , friendly and very helpful as the menu was quite different from you usual 'curry house'. The food was excellent and accompanied by a light crispy bread about 2ft long. Will definitely return - handy location in Merchant city!
