Love this place, with fresh succulent mussels served with other seafood. Appreciate the fact that waitstaff was sensitive of my dietary needs and checked with me before our order. Regret that I did not tip as I thought service charge was already inside, which is not the case. Sorry, guys.

We visited here on a Saturday night for my son's 17th birthday. The food was excellent and was enjoyed by all. The service was fantastic and as good as I've experienced anywhere for a long time ! For a City centre restaurant - food and drink is well priced. Without doubt we will be back! Restaurant was busy - tells... More

After an enjoyable visit this time last year we made a return visit on Saturday. The warm welcome as we entered was appreciated and our table (this year downstairs) was roomy and comfortable. I couldn't decide what to have from the extensive fish menu and finally chose the recommendation from the manageress, she suggested pan fried scallops which were beautiful... More

On a return trip to Celtic Connections and had the chance to dine again in the Mussel Inn - so friendly and welcoming. No reservation - no problem. Good specials board and a lovely main menu. Manager's recommendation was taken up and was everything she promised it would be. Lovely food and great service.

Had a really great dinner here tonight. Everything we ordered was exceptionally well cooked, the highlight being the mussels with blue cheese and bacon sauce. The service was impeccable... to the point that they gave us a free glass of wine each as they had perceived a slight delay between the starter and main course, and we hadn't even noticed.... More

I have become rather fond of the Mussel Inn, & was pleased on my latest visit to Glasgow to be with a colleague who a) loves seafood & b) hadn't dined there. That meant I could take him somewhere I was confident would be good (it was) & that he'd be impressed by my choice (he was). It's good value,... More

Managed to get a last minute table on a Friday night. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The scallop risotto was fantastic. Great wine selection too. Can't fault it!

We had an excellent meal here. Starters of chowder and smoked salmon both lovely and served with loads of bread. We then had a half kilo of mussels - very glad the very helpful waitress advised us to have the half kilo because it was plenty. Again really good.

Description
The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).
