There was a big table of us. A lot of orders. The lunch was excellent and the wine really good. Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The food was delicious. It's a while since I ate here but hope to do so again soon....More

This restaurant has a very simple interior but this should not put you off because the quality of the food on offer is excellent. I had the chowder, we shared the nameplate 1/2 kilo pot of mussels in white wine, and then we had scallops...More

Absolutely superb if you’re into mussels which I am - I had a very nice big, one kilo pot of mussels done in a blue cheese & bacon sauce and accompanied by crusty bread and bottle of local St Mungo lager. Simple but highly effective...More

We were staying locally at the Indego which has excellent food, but thought the Mussels Inn was worth a change. Service was a bit slow to show to the table which we reserved, no need on this occasion not so busy. Very nice menu, we...More

If you are in Glasgow, DO NOT GO THERE! Unpolite and too expensive. The worst thing I made in Glasgow.

Very accommodating by allowing me to bring my booking forward. Good service even though it was busy. Bread basket was welcome. Surf and turf was beautiful. Steak cooked perfectly rare to my liking and seafood sauce was very tasty. Scallops were a bit on the...More

This place was recommended to me by my hotel. It was a bit late and they knew it would still be open. I had a nice scallop dish, even though I love mussels, because I had had a long day traveling from Belfast, and wasn’t...More

The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).
