Stumbled across the Raven on a night out last night - what a result! After a few pints of uninspiring lager we were dying for a good pint of ale - and we were spoiled for choice!! Several pumps and a good few cans in...More

Out shopping and grabbed a quick lunch in The Raven. Soup and a sandwich was more than enough to keep us going. Great atmosphere as usual even tho it was after the lunchtime rush. Quality beer on tap too. Served by Frank a pleasant chap.More

Came here for dinner to sample the BBQ plate. It was OK but nothing special. It lacked any real zing. Nothing seemed to have much in the way of seasoning and none of it really stood out. I don't know why they shred the brisket....More

Really enjoyed my visit to The Raven on a Sunday evening after church. It can be busy at other times but this was great. Friendly helpful staff, good food, and very acceptable beer. Hadn't been there for ages but glad I went back.

Lovely venue for drinks with friends. Great atmosphere with really friendly staff, tasty fries and amazing locally brewed lager and ales. A proper find and I’d come back whether with friends or solo, an easy place to be.

Popped into the raven for a meat fest and was not disappointed. Family of four had two “big yins” and side of chips and onion rings between us. Two vast platters arrived. We ate all we could and left with a doggy bag. Fantastic value...More

This place is big enough for large group of people. I don't know what you mean by function suite. It's a restaurant with great service and great food. It looks like it can hold up to 100 diners at once... go and enjoy
