Low-level on a street choc-a-bloc with bars and eateries, Moskito has a range of reasons why you might stop by: it's massive, with a range of small interconnected rooms meaning you can have intimate space if you want it or sit in the wider bar area where it's almost always busy; a wide range of beers and spirits; decent food... Moskito was excellent choice of venue: we booked the Snug for Saturday night. Bonus as the bar is open till 3pm. Staff are excellent, drinks are great and they play great tunes! Many thanks to Moskito for helping make the night a success!

Disappointed. Bar was busy, music was just a thrum of a tuneless beat. Drinks were expensive. Double vodka and cranberry was £7 and a pint was £5. 3 cocktails cost £27. They did have non alcholic beers at £3.25. Place was spacious with many rooms. Pool table and garden area. Looks like it would serve food throughout the day. I... More

Popped in for a quick drink on Valentine's Day, making use of their midweek promotion where you can get selected cocktails for £3.95. A lovely Geordie girl served them; she was super friendly and seemed to know her stuff. All the staff were generally very helpful and despite the bar being fairly quiet in the midweek it still had a... More

Really nice atmosphere me and my partner had intended on a pub crawl but visited her and ended up staying most of the night, lovely setting music was good, and the list of beers to select from were good aswell. Will be back.

Agree with some of previous review but know that delay for food was due to it being cooked on request. Staff were great pointing out burger and drinks deal to us. Well done to Kirsty for being such fun and sorting us out. Five happy ladies on Friday!!!!

Visited with a group of friends before a show at The Kings. We went for the 2 burgers and 2 drinks deal for £12 which was superb value for what we got. Upon arrival we were impressed with the place, was very nice and the girl that was serving us was bubbly, very pleasant and good at her job. She... More

Well that was tempting enough to make a visit! It was a dreary wet day so we ordered soup to start - service was slow and when the soup arrived it was a generous portion but only luke warm. There was no time to send it back as we were on a lunch 'hour'! By the bottom of the bowl... More
