Ever since visiting an authentic Chinese restaurant in Manchester some 5 years ago I have been hoping to find one nearby to where I live. Anyway I was recommended by a Chinese friend a place called Loon Fung in Glasgow as it has a slew of authentic Dim Sums.So on my return from the Highlands I dropped by. It all... More

I have been a visitor to the Loon Fung for years now and was sorely disappointed with the meal today at lunchtime. Chicken curry with fried rice was very bland. Stringy pieces of chicken and the sauce had no kick to it whatsoever. May give this place a miss for a while. I realise they were busy but the food... More

We were advised to try this restaurant for Dim Sum by a friend for lunch during a weekend away in Glasgow. From the outside it doesn't look too promising, almost at the end of Sauchiehall Street with an unobtrusive entrance. Inside doesn't get much better, no windows and quite dark decor. But the food and service were great, we picked... More

We found this little gem in Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street when we were looking for a pre theatre dinner. The portions were excellent, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly. We went in when the restaurant was quiet but by the time we came out, it was buzzing, mainly with Chinese customers who were tucking into their food. Extensive... More

they put too much salt, MSG, and oil in all of their dishes. the staff could have been more polite. but thankfully, they still provided free slices of oranges to neutralize the weird sensation their food left in customer's tongue

£3.33 for one dim sum plate! Super cheap, super fresh & very tasty. Portions not small either. Staff helpfully recommended dishes.

Been here twice since Christmas. Serve a lovely bottle of rose wine. Compliments well with the food. The dim sum menu is great and offers a few nice changes. Easy and clear menus. Always a good atmosphere, very popular, fast service and polite helpful staff.

I started going here as a teenager, which was a long time ago & always rated here as one of the chinese in Glasgow. This was first time visiting after the restaurant re-opened & was so looking forward to it. We were given prawn c askers to begin with which were cold I.e. Had been cooked a lot earlier, I... More

Visited this restaurant a few times but first time for my husband who was very impressed by the high standard of food, saying it was one of the best Chinese meals he's ever tasted. I personally have consistently experienced top quality food and service the few times I've visited the Loon Fung. I would certainly recommend it to my friends... More
