Probably been going to Banana Leaf for 4 or 5 years now and have to restrain ourselves from going there more than once a month. As a veggie/vegan household there's also good choice and the staff are knowledgable about ingredients. We've taken friends and family there, most omnivore, and none yet seem disappointed. They used to have a very long... More

We went for the two course lunch menu. The starters were a bit on the small side _ my chicken satay had only 2 skewers and none too thick. But the main course Malaysian coconut curry was tasty, spicy and ample. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

I just had a take away, and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the size of the portions and the contents! I was even more disappointed when I tasted it. I had spring rolls (about £4.50) for 6 tiny, tasteless veg spring rolls. See Woo Asian supermarket sells 50 for about £1.50. I'd bet my life that they were... More

This is hands down my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. It never fails to disappoint. The chef clearly takes pride in his food and creates amazing flavoursome dishes. If you love Asian food it's well worth the trip. Prices are cheap for such high quality. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. DELICIOUS!

The food here is simply excellent. Everything is well cooked, it always tastes marvellous (even some of the odd sounding stuff) and I eat here whenever I stay in this part of the City. The down side is the miserable attitude of the staff; who is doing who the favour here, the staff or the paying customer! Having said that,... More

Went for dinner with my partner. This is a big deal for us as we do not eat out very often, so we were so pleased that our experience was so positive. Firstly, the food was wonderful: I had salt and chilli tofu for a starter which was spiced at just the right heat and the tofu was crispy on... More

Went here with my Mum and son as close to the Hilton. Should have stayed in the Hilton or just went anywhere else. Food overpriced and very disappointing. I think I paid £13-£14 for a drumstick in curry sauce. Who wants a drumstick for their main course? Okay the drumstick was accompanied by a tablespoon of peanuts; whitebait; pickled veg... More

Booked for 8pm Sunday evening not too busy. The service was excellent and the waiter stopping to chat was a delight. This was my first visit as a birthday treat. My starter was soup with dumplings - the broth was delicious and the dumplings filling. I then went on to order sizzling chicken and pickled vegetables - again delicious. My... More

Had cheap set menu, it was good and the staff polite and attentive. Portions were not large but they were fine, especially for the price and quality.

A great restaurant near the city centre, serving delicious Malaysian food. The staff were all very good and looked after us all evening. A nice mix of customers and a lovely ambience in the restaurant, especially with all the Chinese New Year decorations. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Glasgow later this year and would recommend... More
