Visited this restaurant for the second time , this time was with family as we had such an amazing experience with friends last year . We were met at the door with a friendly girl who took us to our table , she was very bubbly and attentive through out the evening, the food could not be faulted , I... More

We were 4 out for a early dinner before going to see Rag and Bone Man thought start the night off with a nice meal ....? Well where to start the place was reasonably quiet so no excuse there then we ordered two starters, pigs cheek on a crouton...! Sounded really nice after asking I was told yes it's meant... More

Thanks for the review Antony. Neither service nor product seems to have been at an acceptable level on Sunday and I will be looking into both. In the mean time, if you were to wish to email CF@thefinniestonbar we could discuss this further. I do hope Rag and Bone man was an improvement to your evening. King regards The Finnieston... More

Was here with clients and no upper budget. Ordered Sancerre at £42 and then asked for a second bottle. None was in stock so proactively offered Cloudy Bay in place - without knowing the price differential we said we would take it if at same price as Sancerre. Checked with manager who said no - price differential was £8 !!!... More

Very sorry to hear about your experience. I can understand your furstrations and you should have also been offered our other sauv blanc which may have been closer to your required pricepoint. Obviously at the higher end of the menu, we can’t have the same holding stock as the wines we have at the entry level, should we have an... More

Popped in last weekend without a booking, staff were happy to accommodate both of us. We were given the run down of daily specials which we both opted for. I had the seafood pot whilst my partner had the mackerel and fennel salad both full of flavour and well presented. Cocktails were also uo there with some of the best... More

Omg. It's was one of the best seafood dishes I had EVER! We started with sear scallops, oysters, and half pint of prawns. The scallops were cook to perfection and the prawns were just season right. For main course I had the steam seafood pot and the hubby had the sea trout. This place is a must for every seafood... More

We did receive money deducted from bill . I would have insisted on more but this was sons treat to me for Mother's Day . Emailed but received no reply .... More

Nice friendly atmosphere with great selection of cocktails. Seemed a popular venue and was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Good setting with warm living flame fire, seat at window. Staff very friendly, my martini sitting in iced water very innovative. Oysters excellent, whisky spray novel. Too many carbs in lunch main courses, will read menu carefully next time! Good early afternoon before shopping, bus to Glasgow centre easy from just across road.

Meal was fine if somewhat slow, not helped by other half's main course having to be sent back as it was lukewarm. Service friendly but delays throughout meal, from table being available through appearance of main courses and drinks not being served with dessert even though we requested that to happen. Food itself was generally OK if a bit bland.... More
