Really good vegan breakfast, the square sausage and garlic mushrooms were amazing. Really delicious cakes and wide range of choice. Such a lovely place and really nice staff

This is a great wee place located in the heart of the trongate. Really like how Rose and Grants offer a vegan menu, which is a hit with my husband who is vegetarian. I'm told by him the vegan square sausage is a winner! Well worth a visit if you are looking for something different in Glasgow.

Introduced by a vegan friend who was desperate to try their vegan square sausage that everyone is raving about- quite rightly so too! It is unbelievable! I'm not vegan - but this is the best breakfast sarnie on planet earth. So, this place is fast becoming a favourite. Morning coffee enroute to the office (7th cup free!) with the possibility... More

We found out about Rose & Grant's online and wanted to try it for a vegan breakfast whilst we were in Glasgow. The shop instantly felt welcoming with a nice atmosphere and it was decorated in a very homely manner. The staff were super friendly and ready to take our orders instantly. The service was fast, despite there not being... More

We visitied Rose & Grant's twice during a recent stay in Glasgow, both times for breakfast seeking an alternative to the usual hotel fare. The first time we had a light breakfast (coffee and black-pudding and egg roll) and when we realised we'd like a bigger breakfast the next day had no hesitation in returning. (poached egg on toast with... More

When you walk into Rose & Grants you have no idea whether to sit down or place an order at the till. (Spoiler: you can do either, but it's not clearly communicated). Service can be a little slow but the staff are friendly and helpful, there's a light airy atmosphere, and we are very excited about the introduction of their... More

A jewel in the crown. Super soups, sandwiches, vegan options. Wonderful staff. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Only 2 complaints: no porage and the beans are often cold. Otherwise delightful!

Went here a few days after Christmas. My friend has breakfast and we had a coffee and a tea between us. Not the cheapest place to have breakfast, but my friend wasn't complaining. The Tollbooth tower is visible right across the road (I'm betting there were one or two tourists in here), and there's lots of public transport to take... More

Had lunch in this cafe Seating wasnt very good - furniture looked straight out a charity shop and chairs were wrong height for some of the tables - improving seating would make this cafe much better. Coffees ordered looked great but werent quite hot enough for my liking and by the time my toastie came coffee was freezing! Toasties were... More

I love this restaurant! The food is great, there is a great variety of food options (vegetarian/vegan/meat options with all of them tasting pretty great), all made to order and fresh, and it is probably the only place in Glasgow where you can get a really good espresso/macchiato that isn't either overly bitter or overly sweet. The ambience is great... More
