Ate here on a Friday night with the family, first time, really lovely meal, beautifully presented, good atmosphere, friendly efficient service. Cullen skink to start, really tasty, beef bourgenoin that was melt in the mouth, and a generous portion of delicious sticky toffee pud. Will come back here again, and they do great offers for Sunday lunch.

Set in the basement of an old church and in rather uninspiring surroundings you would struggle to find this place if you didn't know about it. Inside the atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy. Tastefully decorated with some nice historic memorabilia. Best of all though was the food!! At £19.99 for 3 courses you would expect the usual pub... More

My self and my friends went in for a last minute meal. We found the menu a bit small. We ordered and our food came out very quickly. Food was nice but very over priced. Been to a lot higher quality places for the same price. However the food was good if not underwhelming .

Booked pre-theatre on 5pm, 2 courses and glass of wine £14.95. Main and dessert were both very nice. Lots of choice even though pre-theatre menu. Would definitely go back.

If I ever need to be treated to excellent food, fantastic staff and completely delicious indulgence I come here. The Cullen skink is the best ever, our special tonight was haggis and steak pie. It was fabulous. I always attempt to leave space for the pudding but was outdone by the main course. The meal was finished with a pot of tea... More

I have been here before and was lovely. However I eel like the food was not up to much and not the freshest. Service was limited for table service had to ask every time at the bar I wanted anything even though it was quiet. I have recommended many people to here but I personally won't be back.

This has to be one of Glasgows best kept secrets! Had a great lunch, lovely food, great staff. A little bit of a walk from the centre of town but well worth it!!!

The food was nice, reasonable price with a wee dark atmosphere. The bar was cool but I didn't order alcoholic drink that day. Anyway, music was cool. I used Gourmet Society card for 50% discount too...super duper deal.

My wife and I had the pre theatre lunch. I had the pork cheek and my wife had the haggis bonbons as a starter. I followed this up with the fish and chips which came with mushy peas (Perfectly cooked) and tartare sauce. My wife had the beef linguini with parmesan and black pudding. Both dishes were delicious and piping... More
