Seewoo is the largest Chinese restaurant in Scotland and it has to be big to accomodate the number of people who flock here for the great authentic food. It never disappoints and we enjoyed every morsel. The dim sums are to die for and that is why we are regular visitors. The restaurant is a popular venue for the Chinese... More

Ate here early on a Sunday evening, place was quiet with some nice Chinese pop music playing. Opted for the Cantonese set menu of 4 courses. Service was friendly and the food tasty and freshly prepared. Portions were good, in fact we couldn't eat all of the main course. Will definitely come back next time I am in Glasgow.

This place looks and acts like somewhere in Asia. Food is pretty authentic and so might put off some people who like 'western Chinese' sweet and sour type dishes. But it is usually full of Chinese people eating, which is a good sign. Services is only so-so, but prices are very good.

We were there for lunch the place was busy. We were seated and placed order with recommendation from staff. We ordered 5 items, two items came pretty quickly. However we have to wait almost an hour for the rest to arrived. When we approached a staff no apologies or explanation were offered. Staff were running around like headless chicken without... More

We went to try the supermarket. We always love to browse the Chinese supermarkets as there are always so much variety and exciting foods. However we did not even make it past the entrance.... I have never experienced a smell like it. It was as if the public toilets, fish sauce and stale meat had combined and taken steroids.... My... More

Was in the restaurant for a wedding banquet in the month of September, the service was really really bad as they had hired in some amateurs to do their table service for them. My guests felt that they were rushed in between dishes and they weren't given much of an option when asked if they had finished there meal yet... More

We always visit on a Monday, having driven 65 miles to buy from See Woo S'mkt then look forward to lunch in the restaurant. Normally between 1300 - 1400 hours the restaurant is busy and mainly with Chinese eating well. My Wife always starts with a Hot & Sour soup....normal for an Oriental. Today she didn't finish it! Why? because... More

Another great dim sum lunch for authentic Chinese cuisine. We cannot help not going here for good food which never disappoints and the service is always fast and efficient. It is always good to see that this huge restaurant fill up with families of all ages as it is always a popular venue for the local Chinese community. Children are... More
