First time at this attractive small place. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food on the fixed price menu was excellent with the chicken with beetroot sauce great. Three courses for £18 was good value. Give it a try.

Had a lovely meal here. We had different items from the set menu which we all enjoyed. I like the little touches: the nice bread while you wait (which does not cost extra) and the home made tablet with the coffee. Service was good and so was the food. If you intend to eat here, I would recommend booking in... More

We were disappointed with the experience. I don't understand why people speak so well about this restaurant as it wasn't half way nice. We booked a table for lunch. The waiter started serving one of our drinks wrong. Then he served the bread without butter, we had to ask for it. At this time I was feeling cold and I... More

Visited here with my son and his partner to celebrate his birthday. A nice small restaurant, the food was lovely. Served quickly by very pleasant staff. Lovely fish dishes on the menu, as well as meat. Nice place to go for a celebration

Was here on a Saturday night with my wife and daughter and had a wonderful meal. Great starters, the main courses were excellent and the house wine was divine. The staff were very helpful and enjoyed the atmosphere. Would recommend.

Was in glasgow for business on my own and asked a taxi driver to take me somewhere for dinner, i ended up here, what a place. Food was excellent, i had the scallops and rainbow trout followed by the ganache. Service was brilliant. I will definitely be going back and would recommend.

Enjoyable early evening supper on a wet January night, Appetising selection on the pre-theatre menu, including Cullen Skink and Smoked Salmon Starters. Chicken Supreme was accompanied by wonderfully cooked Roasted Courgette and Carrots. High quality and nice attention to details as you'd expect.

Visited with our Swedish friends on Saturday after they had booked the restaurant. The restaurant was busy with one particular group being rather noisy which was not a good start. Our drink order was taken by the young waiter(martini cocktail)and martini in a tumbler was served. Main course was ordered and we were then told Lemon sole was being replaced... More

Enjoyed a pre theatre here with friends. The food was very good indeed. Lets itself down by the slightly grotty toilet facilities. Also we felt very rushed after our meal. Certainly the deal is that the table has to be returned within 2 hours but a little bit of a reminder beforehand would have been nice instead of impatience.
