Visited Two Fat Ladies as a foursome and we would all agree that they serve up some fine food. As we were going to a Mickey Flanagan gig at the Hydro we all opted for the 2 courses menu for optimal speed. The food was lovely and the service very good. The Cullen Skink soup was very tasty as was... More

Love the ambience of this restaurant, slightly off the beaten track but always busy with quiet murmurs. Lovely place for lunch or dinner.

Enjoyed an amazing Table d'hote meal (before 6 p.m.) last Sunday. We went mistakenly thinking it was related to the television show but its not. Had the smoked salmon and warm cauliflower salad as starters which were excellent. The salmon and chicken mains were amazing as well as our desserts. We had a mix-up when we ordered coffee after the... More

Throughly enjoyed our meal and experience in Glasgow. This restaurant is NOT affiliated with the Two Fat Ladies of TV fame. Nevertheless, the food was excellent, the service almost there, and a great selection of whiskeys. Good value as well.

We've been visiting Glasgow for a number of years now and have been to many good restaurants, but the meal at Two Fat Ladies City Centre was without doubt the best. I could have happily chosen any of the options from the short menu of freshly prepared ingredients, all looked wonderful. Mainly fish, but a couple of meat options were... More

Visited yesterday on a flying visit to the city so our parents could show us the city where they met 60 years ago. This place is a completely surprising gem. Fantastic value set menu, superbly cooked fish whether it be salmon, sea bream or plaice and desserts to die for. Wine was decent too and the service attentive and welcoming.... More

I might be just unlucky with my choice of food, but the evening meal I had here was not good. I had cullen skink with very raw style potatoes and a seafood stew which also had undercooked potatoes, lots of tomatoes and some nice prawns to pick on. The service was very good, but quite frankly could not compensate for... More

Dinner for two, previous online reservation. Very nice ambiance and staff. Excellent food quality, great smoked salmon as starter, and fresh and huge plaice fillet and roast sea bream. Also accompaniments of well cooked potatoes and carrots. Good selection of beer. Honest price compared to the quality and ambiance. Absolutely recommended!
