We were recommended The Butterfly and the Pig . We were not disappointed, fantastic quirky place to chill on the large couches drinking gin. The food was fantastic and will be back very soon . I had the black pudding salad with quails eggs and fish cakes but not as you know it . Great service and just loved the... More

Went here based on the review I got on Yelp. The food was good and as others have said the portions were generous. Not a lot of options if you want beer, but the service was friendly. As others have said, the menu is very unique in how it describes the food, but it was a bit of fun. The... More

My review covers both city centre and shawlands cross locations. The "Quirky" menu in both bars is ridiculous, to the point of being almost illegible. The way it's laid out, the descriptions of the food and even the way it is priced up is indecipherable to the normal man off the street. I went in to the Shawlands branch with... More

A quirky bar and restaurant, nothing matches from the cutlery to the chairs but what a great place,my wife and I had a starter and main course in the restaurant, beware the the portions are huge we were both beaten. We then sat on the comfy sofas in the bar and enjoyed the music.Every thing was good, the staff were very friendly and we... This restaurant has an eclectic collection of tables and chairs and a menu which caters for everyone (gluten-free, vegan, etc). The food was good and certainly plentiful. If you are musically inclined they also hold open mic nights during the week. It's actually below street level so don't miss the entrance!

A wonderful eating experience - Delicious food served by attentive staff in very pleasant surroundings. For starters I had a black pudding, bacon, apple and quail's egg salad followed by a main course of steak pie with chips. Both courses were superb but the steak pie was the best that I have ever tasted. The food was very reasonably priced.... More

The mushy peas were my first so I can at least say they were hot & tasty. The chips were literally "just like Grandma made", & the fish was real good. The brownie w/ ice cream topped off a good meal. Prices were very good & amount of food was excellent. Staff is friendly & competent.

Eclectic mix of furniture, food and live music. We had the gammon and a burger Both dishes were tasty and well presented. Descriptions in the menu were meant to be amusing but didn't necessarily help clarity about the food offer We had a bottle of Italian red The total bill was around £60 The musicians were quite accomplished and sounded... Visited with friends between Christmas and New Year. Interesting basement bar although seating in restaurant is a little tight. Quirky menu which takes a bit of reading but very unique and fun. Food ok. Service friendly and attentive.
