I came here for lunch with my family and we were disappointed to say the least. The waitress had no clue about the menu, and was unsure about what the soup of the day was, how can someone get to 3 o'clock in the afternoon and not know what the soup is!! After finally being informed of the soup, all... More

I was here today with a couple of my friends and the service we received was impeccable! Could not fault it. The food was also of a very high standard, and was far better than the last time we visited. New owner is already making huge differences for the better! We left feeling very happy, however we did look like... More

I was visiting scotland with my boyfriend and heard about this place, was abit sceptical after reading the reviews but thought i would give it a shot and to be honest the negative reviews where sadly right, decor was old and tatty and the red leather sofas have seen better days, the place made me feel they where only interested... Ok the header says it all, it was Mothers Day. Yes the place was busy, but the service just seemed a bit "chaotic" waited for drinks, waited to order still waiting for drinks, a good 45minute + wait for our order. On the plus side, we hadn't booked a table, there was 6 of us, and the staff were able... More

Went here for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised, the food was very good, excellent portions, good service and overall good value for money. The place could definitely do with a lick of paint and a new carpet......doesn't look like it has changed since it first opened!!!! Kids loved the menu

Popped in here today to have a quick bite while killing some time. Wish I hadn't. The decor hasn't changed in years. It's like a throw back to the 70's. Desperately needing a refurb, very very grubby and dark and dreary inside. The "leather" sofas by the windows have seen better days, very worn with bits of "leather" missing in... More

Myself and 2 friends came in for lunch today, the food was amazing. However, when I went up to pay my bill I was told I couldn't pay seperatley, all 3 lunches had to be paid together. Apparently there is a "glitch" in the system?? If this is true I would suggest you get this fixed as it's an inconvenience... More

I visited the pancake place with friends on a Sunday afternoon - this was my first ever visit. We sat down & a waitress soon came and took our orders/brought our drinks. We all had the Chocolate Royale - which were tasty! My two friends had the Scottish & it was all fresh and looked delicious - only slight disappointment... More

I usually go to the pancake place in Dunfermline but yesterday me and my boyfriend decided to try this one and see what it's like.. unfortunately all I can say is I won't be back to the Kirkcaldy one. Dunfermline is much better all round (food and service). The service here is really really poor.. Went in and waited 15... More

Popped in for lunch, wish we hadn't!! Baked potato was watery mush, beef chilli Luke warm. Pancakes would have been acceptable if the chocolate sauce hadn't been poured all over them, serve it in a jug for goodness sake!! Poor selection of home baking and lack lustre service! No itemised bill, no parting comment, in fact very little interaction from... More
