I visited here whilst looking after a friends two young sons on a very busy Saturday afternoon - However we were still greeted and seated quickly and the staff did not rush us/the children in any way! The kids both got a special kids menu which has activities/colouring games on it so that helps to keep the kids occupied until... More

Saturday will always be congested and a bit slow. Having said that not too bad today. Seated quickly and order taken efficiently. Usual choices of savoury and sweet pancakes, sandwiches, soups and paninis. Had iron bru which was fizzy. Panini and fries were nice and side salad fresh. Free wifi.

I went to The Pancake Place with my mum, dad and younger sister. I ordered macaroni cheese however there was to much cheese and the pasta was mushy. My dad said that his coffee was nothing special. My mum's baked potato was undercooked on the outside. Isla, my sister, had a massive pancake with cream and maple syrup. Her pancake... More

Waited to be seated and young girl came pretty promptly. Ordered soup & sandwich deal and it came fairly quickly. Soup was lovely as it usually is ( lentil), crisps and salad were crisp and fresh. Older waitress came along and lifted my daughter's plate away without even asking if she was finished! (She wasn't! ) . She then asked... More

Not a great experience, very disappointing as we are a small family owned company and set great store by trying to promote friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. There is no excuse for not feeling that you got this no matter how busy or not it may have been. More

Visited here today, 13th of January 2017 with three friends + young child (2 year old) upon entering we were rushed into a booth far too small to accommodate us + coats etc, we started to get comfortable - exchange late xmas presents as we don't meet often, the waitress came by five times within the space of two minutes... Friendly staff, family friendly, quick service and big portions, reasonably priced and competitively priced with outlets nearby. Two burgers and chips, large coke and tea for £20. Decent burgers as well.

Had lunch and as it was a Wednesday they have a discount if you are a pensioner which my friend and I are.So when we went to pay the manageress was very rude think she was stressed maybe because it was busy, but she should be pleased as there is so much competition. She told us how much we were to pay... We visited earlier today for some lunch and the it was great! I've been a number of times and it's always the same level of service! We were seated really quickly and the staff were nice and friendly. I had a Cajun chicken panini and my partner had a club sandwich and they both came with the option of chips... More

History of hit and miss. Recently though been super impressed with their soups. We try and go in most weekends and have soup and a sandwich. Home made and usually lovely. Staff and service good and prices fair. Very well located and handy for car parking, buses or taxi. It's a Dunfermline institution and I'm happy to support it.
