Amazing Takeaway

We have eaten in this restaurant 3 times and every time has been flawless. amazing meal and service every time. Tonight we saw they were doing a takeaway service (due to covid19) which I didn’t know they did so we tried it. Initially the website said they didn’t deliver to our postcode but we phoned the shop and they said they could accommodate us for a slightly higher delivery fee which was fine. Food arrived well within the agreed time, about 20 minutes before it was supposed to. Everything was hot, tasty and we throughly enjoyed it. Exactly the same meal we would have if sitting in the restaurant with no complaints. Lovely meal yet again, would highly recommend!

Best Mex Tex EVER !!!!

Went there last night - had two amazing meals ... mixed grill is superb - they swapped the fish for steak at no extra cost! Staff were great - nothing was too much bother and all food cooked from fresh to just the way you want it. Best of all was the price .. 2 meals, 2 sides, 2soft drinks and a bottle of wine for under £50!!!!

Tasty fajitas!

We visited yesterday, we’re from County Durham and have tried many Mexican restaurants but this must have been one of the best we have tried. We ordered fajitas, one bbq, one steak and chicken, halloumi cheese and peri peri chips and everything was beautiful. Big portions, plenty of meat and full of flavour. Service also made this experience; very attentive and accommodating, we were made to feel very welcome. Wish we had a restaurant like this down near us! If we were in the area we would defiantly visit again and would definitely recommend! Thanks very much!

Long delivery time

Placed our order last night and waited 2 hours for delivery. When I phoned to see if there was an estimated time for it being with us, all the lady would tell me was it was out for delivery. The delivery driver phoned after nearly 2 hours, turns out the shop had put the order into a delivery box going to the other side of town. The delivery driver was great once he realised what had happened and got it too us as soon as possible. We used to order from here a couple of times of month and delivery used to be fast. We waited 2 hours for a delivery before Christmas and were advised that night that a delivery driver had quit and the manager would contact us about the time it took for food to arrive, that didn't happen. The food was ok last night, but think after all the waiting we were really beyond enjoying it

Incomplete order poor customer service

Thought we’d give this place a try and if good add it to our options for a takeaway. It arrived more or less on time, I had ordered chilli and tacos, the chilli was there but no tacos. My husband phoned the shop and the woman he spoke to most was most unhelpful and there was no attempt to deliver the correct meal, instead she attempted to blame it on the driver. I found this to be very unfair as everything was together in a bag so not sure how he could be blamed. She said she would give a refund for the chilli but this didn’t compensate for a ruined meal, chilli on its own was not what I had in mind. Needless to say this lot won’t be getting added to our takeaway list. And the food was okay nothing special.

Our new local hidden gem

We live in the area and love Mexican food. We’ve driven past here a few times and thought we’d give it a try for our first meal out post-lockdown…it did not disappoint! Friendly welcoming staff, extensive menu and food and you’ve no need to worry about eating out in current circumstances - everything is wiped and cleaned perfectly. The food is cooked fresh and to order and this is evident right from the first bite. We had chimichangas and burritos and they were fabulous. Tasty and the perfect portion size. We will recommend this restaurant to everyone and we’ll definitely be back.

Polite and helpful staff. We had to change our time last minute and they were more than happy to help. Service was amazing. The staff were on point too, very accommodating and welcoming with our specific needs. Food was fantastic. It was great they had the basics on the menu for the younger kids, like nuggets and burgers etc. Sadly I only have one photo of the food because it was too Good to wait. Lol. We will be back for sure!! The ONLY thing I would add to menu...there has to be a Dulce de leche sauce for churros as well as the chocolate sauce😋🤣 because thats the only thing churros need if you ask me. Haha

Beautiful Mexican food

We decided to try this Mexican after reading reviews online. After ringing up and booking a table we were greeted by a friendly front of house employee who made us feel really welcome. After ordering our meals they arrived within 10 mins...superb service. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were some size. Anyone visiting Falkirk to see the Kelpies or Falkirk wheel should go here for a superb Mexican experience.

Great Little Restaurant

Visiting Falkirk and needed a restaurant for Saturday night, chose Mexican Tex Mex. The staff were very helpful and efficient, the menu had all the usual dishes you would expect. I am gluten free and they were keen to ensure that everything was safe for me to eat. We started with Homemade Nachos and Grilled Halloumi Fingers with a balsamic dressing, both were delicious. We asked for a break before the main course and that was no problem. For main I had Piri Piri Chicken Fajitas, they were the bomb! I make a mean fajita but these were so good. I had rice instead of tortillas. My husband had the beef Chimichanga with Rice and he said it was delicious too. I had a cocktail and a gin and my husband had a bottle of red wine. Total bill £59 great value. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely be back

What a great experience. First time visiting this restaurant but it won’t be the last. Lovely and attentive staff great food and very reasonable prices. We went here for dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet although it was Father’s Day and not much atmosphere but the staff were very friendly and attentive. Absolutely no complaints about the food, in fact the nachos were the best i have tried. We shared the starter, had a main course each, a water, soft drink and a medium glass of white wine and the bill was just under £35. Excellent value for money. One small negative was the delivery driver came over and joined in with a conversation that my wife and I were having without being asked, which we thought was a bit rude. Apart from that I would have no problem returning to this restaurant or recommending to anyone, we were just sorry that we left it so long to visit.

Authentic Mexican food.

I visited with my daughter on Sunday evening. We are used to authentic Mexican food as her dad is American with a Mexican step-dad, so we have high expectations: we were not disappointed. We both had classic nachos to start, which were lovely, although I would have preferred fresh guacamole - knowing how hard it can be to get decent avocados, however, I can understand why a processed version was used. For the main course, I had veggie enchiladas and my daughter had kids' vegetable fajitas. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with a wonderful selection of vegetables and flavoured to perfection. The Mexican rice and beans were also excellent. We finished with churros, which were a tasty treat - all in all, we could not fault the food at all! The service was also excellent. The waitresses were very attentive and extremely friendly. There was a mistake with my daughter's main course but this was speedily rectified with profuse apologies and I could not fault the staff at all for the way they handled the situation. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to eat here again.

Food was really good, Tacos were delicious, loved trying different things. Would definitely recommend this place for a meal out with family or friends. It was my daughters Birthday so they gave us all a special drink (she is 22). Will definitely be back xx

Quality Mexican Dinner

Visited this restaurant at the end of May as we were in Falkirk at the time and decided to get some dinner before returning home. The food served was excellent and the service was top class (servers doing an amazing job to make sure our night went fantastic). Would 100% visit again in the future and most definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Falkirk or passing through the area.

Pleasant surprise!

I suddenly had a craving for Mexican food and was very pleasantly surprised, upon googling, that there was a texmex restaurant a mile away from my house. Booked a table for a Wednesday night, the place was not very busy. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was incredibly tasty. The only negative was the toilet seemed to be blocked, but that's not enough to deter me from visiting again which I plan to do ASAP!

Have had a few takeaways from here in the past, but aye in the restaurant for the first time last night and the food was Fantastic. We were the only customers to have a sit in meal but there was orders and takeaways being done whilst we ate. Had 3 starters between us including taquitos and wings. Fantastic and generous portions for starters. For the mains I had a mixed grill that came with rice and salad and contained beef, lamb, chicken and prawns. All freshly cooked and really tasty. Cannot fault the place. Good value, very friendly owner and just fantastic food. Will defo be back for a sit down meal soon. 3 starters, 2 mains, side of chips, pint of juice and a bottle of wine for well under £70 is not to be sniffed at these days.
