My partner and I ordered a delivery from the Queensferry Street branch through Just Eat. When it arrived it was the wrong order and upon calling the restaurant we were assured another Just Eat driver would be arranged and the food would be made fresh...and re-delivered. The lady I spoke to from the restaurant was called Katie and she could not have been more helpful over the phone. After a while Katie called back to tell me Just Eat had not arranged another driver and were unable to assist further so upon the restaurant closing Katie brought the food herself personally!! The food was clearly made fresh, still piping hot and she had popped in a bottle of Prosecco as a good will gesture. Katie is an asset to the restaurant and the reason we will not hesitate to order again.More

Four of us turned up on a Saturday night without having booked, but they found us a table and everything was as you'd expect from Zizzi's. The service was good and the food tasty.

I ordered pollo prosciutto and my husband the mushroom risotto ,both meals arrived lukewarm, the risotto was watery and had little taste ,no seasoning or mozzarella was offered .we were unable to ask for the above as the staff were very busy .the pollo prosciutto...was ok ,probably 5 out of 10 My husband ordered the tiramisu and to be fair I could have made better ( and that's saying something) Having enjoyed zizzi in Covent garden & Newcastle and were looking forward to the meal unfortunately we left disappointed and still hungry ,wont be visiting this one in Edinburgh againMore

Had pizzas and some pasta, everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. Recommend the jackruit pizza! The service was good initially, and we got attended quickly, and after finishing our meal we got to look at the dessert menus. We wanted to order desserts but...the waiter took way too long to attend us (probably waited around 15minutes) and the place was very quiet as it was a weeknight so it couldn't have been because she was super busy. Decided to have desserts somewhere else and this made our visit only worth three stars. Food itself would have been worth five!More

As a couple, we dinned in Zizzi's in December. Used our voucher with no problem, we had already made a booking. We had 3 courses. The Fonduta was very nice, I next had the crab cannelloni was didn't find it had a lot of taste....My OH had the wild boar meatballs which he said was one the best dishes he has ever had! For deserts, he had the millionaires slice which he enjoyed and I had the brownie which was the best brownie I have ever had! Lovely evening with nice surroundings. Would recommend.More

We fell on this eatery by chance and had not booked. It was Hogmanay so busy, still we just got a table for 2. The food was excellent best Lasagne ive ever had. The service just the same. My new best restaurant you would be...hard pushed to go wrong. On their busiest night of the year they did not fail. Try it, the food itself is delicious.More

Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
