Third time I’ve been to chop house, third time I’ve had an excellent evening. Waitress overheard me saying to my pal that while my steak was delicious it was actually over-cooked compared to what I’d ordered. Not used to sending stuff back so was mortified...More

Enjoyed a really great meal here. The staff were very helpful in explaining all the different options and we eventually decided on a sharing cut which came with some amazing sauces. Sides were all particularly delicious. Great atmosphere too.

Loved everything about our evening here. Never been to a restaurant before where the seats were heated especially since we were soaked. Will definitely return

First, the food here is wonderful. The steaks have amazing flavour. This time it was the turn of the rib-eye. The Dover sole fish and chips also went down a treat. Side dishes are not included. String fries, beef dripping chips and portobello mushrooms were...More

We had a 3 course meal and cannot say anything bad about the food. It was delicious! Crispy shrimp was out of this world and steaks were cooked beautifully. Salted caramel fondue was the perfect end to a perfect night at the Leith Chop House!

Great decor, very welcoming, friendly staff, fantastic dirty martini, good wine selection and reasonably priced for the quality of the food, and enough meat to make a gaggle of vegans lecture you about the evils of the meat industry until they pass out from low...More

Opened in the summer of 2015, Chop House Leith can be found on Constitution Street, Edinburgh. From the team behind Monteiths, Sygn Bar, WestRoom, Chop House Market St. & the new White Horse Oyster Bar, Chop House Leith is a classic British steakhouse and innovative cocktail bar. Having started life as a cork warehouse in the 19th century, the elegant venue is now a light-filled space divided into separate bar, dining room and private dining areas. British beef, butchered in-house, dry-aged on-site for up to 90 days and cooked over an open-flame, charcoal grill is at the heart of the Chop House offer. Sociable dining is central to the experience with large sharing steaks such as Chateaubriand, bone-in rib and Porterhouse taking centre stage. Prime cuts such as fillet, sirloin and rump also feature on the menu alongside dishes such as steak burgers, lobster and charred lamb chops. The weekend breakfast menu has many fans as does the express lunch & Sunday roast beef.
