If you don’t visit whiski you definitely miss something huge in Edinburgh. Service is extremely nice and helpful. Lukas our server was extremely nice. Food was good and the tasting whisky flights were to die for. Loved it and will definitely come back again!

Absolutely beautiful lunch and a warm and inviting atmosphere, What more could you ask for. We both ordered the mushroom and tarragon soup with sandwiches. We are still taking in about this soup.

Stopped here for lunch yesterday after a cold walking tour, everyone enjoyed their food (though there was a complaint about portion sizes being small) and drinks and the service was excellent, staff were really friendly and attentive. The decor inside is lovely

Lucie was our waitress for the evening and she did an amazing job, always with a smile. We did the Whisky Tasting (Flight 2) and had some chips afterwards which were delicious. We are coming back, no doubt!

My wife and I went to this bar/restaurant on recommendation from the hotel receptionist. When we got there it was crowed which is usually a good sign. Sights can be deceiving and this was the case. We ordered a beer, cocktail, rump steak and a...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
