This tiny place is not very impressive from the outside, and it's not the fanciest street in the kingdom. It's only two doors down from another, bigger sushi place. But don't be put off -- this is the best japanese food I've every had. Come early or make a booking, because it is small. Try the aubergine. Truly awesome.

We've eaten here about 12 times in the last year and that probably tells you all you need to know. The food is always exceptional. The place is tiny so we tend to eat early and the service is always good. We've probably tried all the sushi now and I recommend it all. The Nigiri salmon set is particularly brilliant... More

Cozy small place, great quality sushi, everything in the menu is wonderful, Extremely well done dragon roll. I keep coming and coming and always same quality, also same chill brasilian music that does not add up too much but at least is relaxed. Great Place.

We really enjoyed this place. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is very small and intimate, which I really liked. Food was prepared so quickly from a visible kitchen. Great experience, I would go again.

Very small spot in haymarket area. I tried the chefs grilled nigiri special, def delicious, but not worth 15 pounds. Grilled fish wasn't the best, but the squid and octopus were very good.

We went at around 5 pm without a reservation and were seated immediately. Staff were courteous and efficient, and food arrived quickly. We had katsu donburi, katsu soup noodles, and a roll of soft shell crab sushi. All delicious, particularly the sushi, although the portion size of the donburi as compared to that found at some other Edinburgh eateries was... More

It's a little walk away from the station (would have probably only been about 10-15 mins if my satnav worked!) but despite getting a little lost on the way there it was definitely worth it! The restaurant is lovely- nicely decorated and immaculately clean- and the food was beautiful. The sashimi was so fresh and the nigiri were authentic- made... More

We booked the table for 3 adults and 1 baby (including push car) in advance. Last time (December 2016) we did the same and we feel really welcomed and the food was excellent. So.. they gave us a 3 persons table in the middle and we put the push car aside , then one of the waitress keep saying that... More
