Visited The Kitchin as an early Xmas present to ourselves. Went for the 7 course Surprise Tasting Menu and wine pairing. The "surprise" being that you don't know what you are getting until it arrives at your table. You do get a map of Scotland...More

I have been wanting to go to Kitchin for years and years. A restaurant that is proud to showcase Scottish produce. They gave us little maps to show where produce was sourced. Our food was excellent. The razor clam starter I had was a great...More

I booked dinner at The Kitchin as a surprise for my partners birthday. From the moment we arrived to the coffee at the end our experience could not have been better; simply superb.

lovely dining room and bar area, we had the five course tasting menu that ends up being about 10 courses with apetisers and extra courses added, not cheap at £75/£85 p/p but well worth it, knowledgeable staff, interesting wine list, would return

Everything about this place is stunning. The food is amazing, the interior is gorgeous (especially around Christmas time) and the staff are brilliant. So friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this enough. Caught a glimpse of Tom in the kitchen too!

Having enjoyed two 5* experiences at castle terrace I was expecting something special. Restaurant is lovely, food OK and staff seem to try hard(ish). Atmosphere not much. To have a lump of butter (easily dropped - have to be there) and left for 1 1/2...More
