Front of House was a shambles - ordered food, waited ages and then our starters and mains arrived all at once (with one starter missing). These things happen so I think it’s more about how you deal with it. The guy who sorted it out...More

We came here as a walk in (myself, my boyfriend and our 2 year old daughter) on a Tuesday night. It was busier than we expected but the waitress took us right in and sat us down. She brought crayons and paper for our daughter...More

Visited Zizzi after the good reviews. Ordered from the Christmas menu, which was 3 courses with a glass of Presseco for £25.95 each. Starters seemed to take a while to arrive, but the other courses followed in good time. Ordered two chicken dishes for the...More

Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Service was quick, food as usual from Zizzi was excellent. Pleasant surroundings, there are seats outside overlooking the Canal which would be lovely in nice weather.

I have been here with friends on several occasions. Love their Zucca salad, very fresh, filling and tasty. They serve good-quality food which comes as close as it can be to Italian food abroad. Their fish risotto is also quite nice. Very good location and...More

I often get confused between Zizzi and Pizza Express. Both offer a more classy twist on what you’d expect from a pizza restaurant. What is the difference other than the chefs in Pizza Express wearing striped uniforms? That’s a good question and I still don’t...More

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
