Best indian takeaway I've had in a long time. Will definitely be making it my gobto place. Was a bit sceptical judging by the front of the shop but all the food and service was near enough perfection.

I ordered a take away from curry cafe and it wasn't that great. Curry was fine but it took them a long time to deliver . I won't rush back

We came in here after a poor experience at Slumdog, just down the road. The food was brilliant - a meal for two with nan bread , pickles, dips and soft drinks just cost £26. Can't argue with that. Will certainly be going back.

Consistently very good quality food from their takeaway service. Lamb vindaloo full of flavour and properly hot. Kathmandu fish curry a favourite for my wife. Don't understand negative comments from previous reviewers. Thoroughly recommended.

Pre-cooked chicken, microwaved poppadoms(!) and, though we both had supposed 'speciality' curries, we felt we got the same base sauce with a few bits mixed in. Even with all the corner-cutting service was slow - we've never had to wait 10 minutes just for the...More

This little cafe/takeaway is/was a Leith Walk landmark once providing value, tasty, indian food. Sadly, the dishes now too often taste as if they have been made from a jar of basic supermarket curry paste. As much as I wish it wasn't true, the food's...More

You may visit CurryCafe at Elm Row in the evening and find a popular busy café with the right smell of Indian food. I visited for lunch and there were absolutely no customers in sight – a completely empty room, but the one-man staff behind...More

Very disappointed, all the food tasted like it had been doused in curry powder. The korma and butter chicken tasted exactly the same, very spicy but not in a nice way it was just bland and hot. Very low quality meat, couldnt tell the difference...More
