This is a fantastic wee place to eat good food in the centre of Edinburgh. There is a good choice of food and the meze is a great option. My vegetarian friend had no problem finding something delicious on the menu. I have been back...More

One of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. Good food and excellent service which has remained consistent over the two years we have been going.

I loved this place - the food was really tasty and we had good sized portions. The staff were really friendly and helpful in answering all our annoying questions about vegetarian food, no coriander, etc. The service was a little slow, but we walked in...More

We lunched here twice. Yeni is a delightful Turkish meze cafe. Spotlessly clean, tables not too cramped, light and airy. Excellent service. There is a lunch deal where you can have three meze dishes for £9.95, so two of you can order six dishes and...More

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,

This is a question for the restaurant or anyone that can answer me. I have just returned from Crete and had the most amazing samali cake. I manage to get recipe online for it and it asks for mastic. It is very expensive to buy online and as I only need a very small amount cannot justify it. Is there an alternative that I can use or somewhere local that I can buy a small amount of this ingredient Thanks
