After a long walk along the Almond and Cramond Prom my friend and myself felt we deserved a reward (or at least a coffee). This seemed the ideal location as it was near the car park with a lovely, slightly rainy, view over to the Almond. I ordered Red Berry Tea and a Cinnamin and Saltana Scone, and my friend... More

It's not a cafe.... It's not a full blown restaurant... It's something different that's nice, pleasant, relaxing, informal, enjoyable. Popped in for first time today on impulse when passing at lunchtime - home-made soup, a chicken wrap and a coffee was excellent - service fast and friendly - cost reasonable. What more can you ask?

Went for a walk along the river at Cramond last weekend - saw the Cramond Falls Cafe and thought "that looks interesting and characterful. We had the pear and cardamom scones that had just come out of the oven and were without doubt the BEST SCONES EVER and I have an inbuilt sconeometer which is never wrong! Saw a trayful... More

It is well worth taking a trip to Crammond with its waterfront, riverside ambience and its roman heritage. When you are there walk up river to the Crammond Falls and pop into the cafe there they do nice very nice home made scones and accompanied by a hot chocolate or coffee round off a great day.

Cramond Falls Cafe is situated in a beautiful spot on the River Almond, Edinburgh. We are known for our cakes and scones, our traditional Scottish breakfasts and our warm welcome. We have two large outdoor areas and a cosy lounge with log fire and 16th century doors. Our cafe is a thriving community of locals, tourists, walkers, cyclists, runners, families and individuals - we love dogs, too!
