Pouring with rain in Edinburgh and hungry. Attractive little café with appetising menu. No frills just a clean & interesting place to eat. Food was lovely, well presented and more than enough of it. Recommend the pasta's. Thank you.

Ordered the full Scottish, after waiting 40 minutes the food was over cooked, burnt and quickly thrown together.

Delicious brunch for four with fantastic service and very charming surroundings. Seemed like a popular venue but our hosts had time and a smile for everyone.

We were on a short visit with our 12 week old baby and wanted somewhere handy to our apartment. Great place. Fresh healthy food. Ate here 2 days in a row. Loved it

During my first ever visit to Edinburgh, we visited here. And WOW what a good introduction. The Cafe's decor is retro and the staff are friendly. But it's a little cramped inside. I ordered the Salmon salad and it was delicious. The price was affordable...More

Excellent breakfasts, we had veggie breakfasts, salmon bangles and breakfast rolls. Couldn't fault any of the dishes and all the coffees were great too.

This cafe is lovely. I came across it by chance today looking for somewhere in the area for a light lunch. They do soup, salads, a couple of pasta dishes, baked potatoes, filled bagels/sandwiches, breakfasts and gorgeous cakes. I had the spinach & mushroom soup...More

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
