The place itself is nicely decorated and peaceful the staff are friendly and polite, there's only 4 tables due to A) small premises B) very popular, so you... More

A friend and I stopped there on our way back to the train station while we were there for a visit. We were looking for a place to have cream tea and Mimi's bakehouse looked like a good place for this, the staff is really nice and the Decor quaint, it is fairly small but they have really cute containers... I visited this cafe earlier on today. It was okay. It was very small with only 4 tables but the decoration of the cafe was very nice and pleasantful. The food was lovely except my boyfriend had a BLT sandwich and there was only 1 bit of tomato which was disappointing and various sandwiches had gone out of stock. However... More

Went at lunchtime the weekend. Three of us had pulled pork sandwiches, and we expected them to be good at almost £10. The filling was lukewarm and the brioche bun had a "soggy bottom" £2.95 extra for chips, and extra (only 50p) for a few sliced jalapeños from a jar. They could have offered the jalapeños as a free side... More

Booked a table here on Sunday for lunch after receiving a voucher for my birthday - lovely and quirky café with LOADS to choose from for veggies and non-veggies alike. I had the veggie chilli with tortilla chips, guacamole and cheese and my OH had the pulled pork sandwich - both were delicious and very filling. The place was rammed... More

I took my family for the first time to Mimi's bakehouse after having many of the cakes I have tried via takeaway but I was eager to try the famous "Beforenoon Tea". The staff were great and the food was absolutely delicious. Mimi's is very family friendly and the variety of food was well worth the money we spent there.... More

We went as a family a few years ago and my mum wanted to go back today. So we managed to get in - to our surprise - but it was extremely noisy despite not being full. The food was with us in minutes and as I write this, I am lying on the sofa feeling unwell and this is... More
