Cafe Marlayne is a great wee place, right in the centre of town. Set menu, tremendous value! Food great, pleasant staff. Can be very busy and a bit of a tight squeeze but worth it!

What a beautiful meal, probably the best Sea bass in town. This cafe is easily overlooked because of its neighbouring restaurants. It would be a mistake to skip it because the sea bass is superb. Tables and decor are simple but effective, service was excellent...More

Great food and wine, competitively priced. Small but perfectly formed eatery, with deservedly fine local reputation.

Having passed this many times thinking it looked nice, booked a table for Hogmanay. Was delighted with this small, quaint restaurant. Food was excellent, the rib eye steak was like cutting butter. Will return.

clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street
helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned
Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric
