My wife and I really love this place. Staff are friendly, the menushas a good range of food. I normally have North Indian Garlic Chicken, which is delicious - lots of flavour, good spice ( and I do like very spicy) well cooked food. The...More

Avoid! We telephoned to check on delivery of our order and were told no order existed, and if we called again the owner would call the police! We ordered from another restaurant then the original order arrived so we ended up paying twice. I called...More

Second time we have been recently. They did mix up our order but recovered quick and painlessly. Mistakes can happen and it did not put us off at all. The food is not bad though it is daily standard stuff.

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to

Description
This new Indian restaurant in the centre of Edinburghs New Town has carved out a little niche for itself amongst the art galleries and antique shops along Dundas Street. Open for lunch and dinner, The Spice Pavilion attracts a well-heeled crowd of art lovers, and the interior a modern space inspired by the rich colours of colonial India is a stylish choice for both leisurely or business lunches and a romantic spot for evening meals. The kitchens philosophy is to take away the focus from heat and shift it to herbs and spices, giving the curries at The Spice Pavilion lovely fresh flavours which are complimented by an impressive range of wines from Australia and Italy.
