you can't go wrong with lunch here, amazing sandwiches with great breads and simply the best selection of cakes in town. coffee is also great. you can buy bread to take away too.
This is a surprising find in the middle of Bruntsfield. I took my family for brunch there and found that all the dishes were just right, and served with wonderful and proper German sourdough bread.
I had the pear and raspberry cake, my wife had the black forest gateau, and my daughter had the white chocolate & raspberry cheesecake, all great and the coffee excellent, need I say more

Visited on Sunday for coffee and cake. Cakes are really delicious but this cafe is let down with the staff, our waiter looked absolutely miserable and the rest didn't look much better! Management need a training session to improve this perhaps.
Nice for some different types of cakes. It's a popular spot with locals and really lovely cakes. Would recommend
