Spotted this place on our walk to Arthur's seat and it looked busy inside and very sweet, so made a note to stop off on our way back for lunch. A couple of hours later when we returned from our walk, it was still busy...More

We had sandwiches, soup, fruit pie and three cups of coffee - all very good indeed, especially the apple-and-berry pie. The space is charming. A few other patrons were queued at the door so we vacated promptly; we weren't pressed to leave. What made the...More

A charming, cozy place to relax, grab a bite, and warm up with a cup. Really nice to do after visiting Holyrood Palace or hiking Arthur’s Seat. Wonderful selection of homemade desserts—you’ll have a hard time choosing!

Cosy seating, lovely tea and cake selection. Great place to crash for a snack or creme tea after walking through the city. Limited seating, but tables can be shared.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
