Very underwhelming steaks. Kind of hit and miss how they are cooked, sometimes overcooked and sometimes under. Worst thing though is that the actual cuts of meat used are not up to scratch. An overly stringy feel and definitely not worth what they are charging....More

Buzzy atmosphere and very good quality food. Wines are disappointing - most too young to drink - but that is pretty standard these days. Service was good.

Having eaten at some of the best steak houses we had been looking forward to Kyloe as it sounded just like Hawksmoor. Unfortunatly we were left dissapointed. Steak was underseasoned and cooked more blue that rare. The beef dripping chips were nearly unedible they were...More

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
