My friend and I had the cheesecake brownie & cinnamon bun as suggested by a lovely girl at the counter . The cheesecake brownie was remarkably wonderful, and the ambience was nice. There was a good range of baked cakes, breads also opera cakes, but they're quite expensive.

Amazing quality of baked goods and breads. We ate brunch and although the menu is small for brunch options the ones on offer are delicious. The cakes - WOW. They are so pretty and the only place i've seen cakes of a similar standard was on the tv on baking shows or in cook books. It is a cosy little... More

I was so looking forward to my first visit to The Manna House. On a busy Saturday morning, we managed to get the last free table out of 5. As we sat, we realised that we seemed to be invisible. What we did not realise was that you ordered at the counter. However, there were no menus on the tables... More

Fantastic wee French cafe on Easter road that prides itself on its freshly baked food from its bakery. Lots of amazing breads on offer and lots of sweet treats available too. Great stop for a bite to eat at lunch and great place for a takeaway too. Affordable prices and authentically French.

Ahh, the Manna House... One of Edinburgh's best patisseries and bakery. We lived nearby when it first opened and must have spent a fortune on their cake and coffee range. Moving house probably rescued our waistlines and wallets. Nice coffee, stunning range of cakes, bread, rolls and pastries made in house - you can glimpse the staff at work. Also... More

Me and my husband dropped in for breakfast and fell in love with the cute set up. The food is delicious. They have options for salads and bake their own bread. The interior is attractive

I can't rave enough about this bakery. Never overly busy even though it's small, and the service always feels personal and lovely. I recommend their flat whites (perfect and strong) and any dessert. The orange polenta cake is particularly lovely. The girls today also gave me a wee free cake they had messed up (still tasted amazing!) when I got... More

Description
Open since 2005, The Manna House is a local craft bakery and patisserie with a small cafe so you can enjoy our sweets and savories to eat in. We bake fresh bread everyday Monday to Saturday – producing everything from white bloomers, multigrain loaves and wholemeal harvesters to more unusual bread like rye & caraway or black olive sourdough. We specialize in fine French patisserie and can make wonderful celebration cakes to order - our carrot cakes, chocolate brownies and blueberry bundts all have a big following.Franco our savory chef makes fresh salads and tasty treats everyday to sit in or to take away with quiches, fresh pizza and pies among our favorites.
