Went to this restaurant last night. Without doubt one of the best Chinese meals we have eaten. Staff were attentive and friendly and service was fast. Restaurant decor is impressive and toilets clean.

We have waited an hour for the main course. All food had the same taste and the same tin, starchy sauce with tasteless noodels were not homemade.

Visited on a Friday evening. Arrived at 6pm and the restaurant soon filled up. Vegetarian Singapore noodles full of flavour. Spiced and salted crispy shredded chicken was devine and the chicken in blackbean sauce equally tasty. Very nice evening. Would definitely return.

The wife and I made our visit here while on a short break. The food was lovely and the service was prompt and friendly even when the restaurant was busy. Would highly recommend this place if it’s a Chinese you are out for.

I looked into taking a party of a similar size, and they were happy to accommodate us. They asked us to choose a banquet menu as this helps to plan and time the volume of food. I think you will enjoy your visit if you... More

Description
This award-winning Cantonese restaurant on Atholl Place stands out on the Edinburgh restaurant scene for its chic dining room and contemporary cuisine. China Town is renowned for its sleek interior – which features chocolate brown walls decorated with antique Chinese musical instruments, silk curtains and LED lights. Popular for stylish parties, formal family get-togethers and special celebrations, China Town has earned an excellent reputation for its innovative cuisine. Seafood dishes are the kitchen's specialty, and you can order scallops, sea bass and halibut steamed with garlic and spring onions or stir-fried with black bean sauce. Head Chef Thomas Chan is happy to create bespoke dishes on request, and his acclaimed menu is complimented by a diverse wine list.
