The setting at Norton House is beautiful, in quiet parkland as befits a luxury hotel. We were delighted when we chose the hotel for our marriage in 2009 and have been back once for a dinner. But it was rather a disappointment when we met...More

Very limited menu on offer when we stayed there to the point we decided to eat elsewhere this was after having previously had a lacklustre afternoon tea that had to get the sandwiches returned. Service was also not very good or welcoming.

Gorgeous setting with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was top class. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. I will definitely return next year.

The menu suited our tastes- delicious starters, perfectly cooked steaks and desserts. Try the braised beef cheek if you can - melted in my mouth and and was SO delic - great to see chefs honour the less popular cuts
