Comfortable restaurant offering a good selection of foods and with good service. Busy here owing to the good value, so booking is recommended.
We were staying at Hetland Hall overnight and were pleased to find this traditional lounge with big Chesterfield settees. No plastic, no piped "musak". Just a good place to sit and talk after dinner. It's just a shame that so few other guests were using it but it meant that there was lots of space!
Only one member of staff on duty when we arrived, going between checking people in at reception to running back to bar to try and serve customers. Not ideal !

The food was of a high standard. The chicken liver pate especially tasty. The staff were young but attentive and will be credit to the hotel in the future
