Town centre pub justly popular with locals and visitors alike. Atmosphere is good, menu is varied and portions are generous. Really good selection of real ale. Good for lunchtime or evening meals but no food on Mondays... All this and good prices

A Tripadvisor find to break our journey from Carnforth to Girvan. A busy real ale pub with a broad menu of pub grub and real ales. Order taken quickly and drinks arrived in minutes. Recommend you try the 'tasting' paddle, your choice of three ales...More

Sunday pub lunch was first class. Portions very generous so suggest the selection of smaller portions at back of menu as option. Spotlessly clean and helpful and cheery staff.
