Sometimes you dine at a restaurant expecting great food based on the reviews. What makes the restaurant memorable is when it is not just great food but a great EXPERIENCE. Everything we ate here was on point. We started with the scallops and the linguistine...More

We had heard of Seafood Temple and set out to find it. It is a bit off the beaten track, but well worth finding. We can't think of a restaurant with a more lovely view. Oban Bay sunset - gorgeous. The menu is primarily seafood...More

We found this small, but perfectly wonderful restaurant, by chance. What a fantastic find! The food is outstanding, superbly cooked and beautifully presented. The charming couple who own and run the restaurant are enthusiastic and attentive but not intrusive. The sole stuffed with smoked salmon...More

The seafood temple is just on the outskirts of Oban but is worth the short trip from the ferry terminal, it is small only seven tables decorated in a simplistic style overlooking the bay. It was dark when we visited but on a summers evening...More

Booked into the Seafood Temple and had the most amazing seafood. Shared a starter of mussels and then halibut with lobster. Couldn't manage desert as portions are very generous. A real find and long may it thrive!
