This place is more a local pub than a tourist attraction at the pier. I had the baked halibut on mashed potatoes with a coating of Parmesan cheese - really good. Pleasant quick service. Look for it.

Between 12pm and 5pm there is a £5 Menu. It's unbelievably good. Excellent pub food, generous portions and lots of choice. We have 2 dogs and the pub is very "Dog Friendly". We always go there for lunch when in Oban, which is regularly.

Had a nice dinner here. Very authentic local food, prepared well. Great staff. For the price, you can't do much better. Had the sticky-toffee for desert, which was excellent.

Had lunch here followed by a few whiskeys suggested by the helpful bar attendant. Traditional fish and chips.

Really tasty food with reasonable prices. The service was polite but seemed very reserved, I didn`t quite feel welome there.

Not super friendly but efficient and pleasant. Delivered drinks and meals in good turnaround time. Food basic but no complaints. Prices definitely better than many of the George St. Tourist eateries
