Popped in to Bussards for the first time having passed the premises previously , and what a pleasant surprise . The premises were surprisingly busy , however this did not deter the staff in their standard of service while keeping the patrons of the Patisserie informed of the excellent soups , sandwiches , fresh baking , hot food and beverages... Bossards Patisserie has a good selection of bread, and pastry and the food is relatively good. But what let's this establishment down considerably is the rude staff, who have entirely forget manners and etiquette.

Thank you for your review Mr Lukeoban I have discussed this review with my Team and the strange thing is know one is aware of any problem during this period . I would have expected your review to be very detailed as in your other 5 reviews ,you do not mention what you had to eat or drink or indeed... More

We can always rely on a good soup here and are usually tempted by a cake afterwards or to take away. Service is friendly and it's a regular meeting place for friends so the atmosphere is lovely too.

This is a lovely little coffee house with a big selection of home bakes that are very reasonably priced. The young lady who served us was exceptionally friendly.

We are regular visitors to Oban and always make a point of visiting Bossards; it is always very busy and we don’t mind waiting on a table. Today, in addition to our soup and roll we also asked for a biscuit to finish with, however, this never came; this is in spite of the waitress continually looking in our direction... More

Every time I visit Oban I make for this super little cafe. Not many seats available but excellent hot coffee and superb cakes, patisseries and snacks. All of a very high standard and speedily served. Consistently good and deserves its high accolades

Hot chocolate and fruit slice are great, according to my husband. I asked for Earl Grey tea but got normal. I should have said and also should have asked for skimmed milk, so my experience wasn't the best.

Visited for coffee, very busy & popular, always a good sign, plenty of choice in cakes, pastries, scones etc. Don't visit if you're on a diet. It has won several awards, scones are fantastic, as is the coffee.
