I am a bit of a curry lover so know the good from the bad. This was definitely good. Helpful and attentive staff, reasonably priced, would highly recommend anyone visiting Inveraray should take a visit.

This Indian restaurant looks like it had better days. Out of 3 main courses we ordered, one was returned because it was not cooked properly. Another one was over-cooked (tandoori mixed grill) and the meat was mostly dry. The waiter was nice and kind but...More

Down in the harbour, hidden from the main street you find this gem. The service is excellent and the food is really affordable. We had a very nice lunch. Unfortunately you can´t pay with card so be sure you have cash!

Strange name for an Indian Restaurant but nothing strange about the service or the food. Large portions of tasty Indian cuisine served in an upmarket dining room. Helpful staff and a good wide ranging menu. Prices are reasonable and the beer - which for me...More

Just discovered that Ban-diuc is Gaelic for Duchess. Given that there is a large framed portrait of Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll on the restaurant wall, it's plain the name refers to her and not the notorious Margaret, Duchess of Argyll, of more recent time....More

Visited this restaurant twice while staying in Inveraray. According to our landlady it changed hands fairly recently. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere more like a traditional British dining room, very comfy and nicely furnished. Food was very tasty and the staff attentive without...More
