We had a nice dinner at The George and even though the food was nothing special it tasted good. But it's the setting and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant that makes it a great stop over to grab a bite.

The George in Inveraray exudes that typical pub feel. The interior is all in dark wood, with a fire place. Very authentic, but also very dark and to me it had a somewhat brooding atmosphere. Service wasn't that great though. It took quite some time...More
